Announcement of article on Nathan Fillion's Participation in Justice League: Doomrom Justice League: Doom

I did press for the West Coast LA premiere of "Justice League: Doom" animated movie at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA on February 16, 2012. Although I will be writing up my interviews, I know there are many fans of Nathan Fillion who are interested in his participation as the Green Lantern. Unfortunately, he wasn't available to come to the premiere.

Gary Miereanu, on behalf of Warner Home Video, sent me a publicity interview Fillion did after his initial recording session and some clips from that interview. I wrote an article for Suite101.com from that interview for his fans. However, I can't publish clips on the Suite101 site, so I'm offering them here. Please remember that these clips are copyrighted to Warner Home Video and do not reproduce without permission from Warner Home Video. I have them here only because we don't have the capability to have them on Suite 101.

Clip One is Nathan Fillion on voicing the Green Lantern:

Clip Two is Nathan Fillion on being part of DC's history:

Clip Three is Nathan Fillion on his relations with Comics:

Additional clips of Nathan Fillion in studio for GLEK

Yesterday, Warners Home Video released Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, their 11th animated movie in the DC Universe on DVD, Blu-Ray, On-Demand, and for Download. Those in the media got press materials and a combo pack to review.

Please check out my articles on Suite101.com:

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights Animated DVD Soon To Be Released

And

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights Animated Movie Released Today

We were also given some clips of interviews that the actors did during their sessions. I’m assuming that these are scattered through the special extras on the Blu-Ray release, but I don’t have Blu-Ray so I can’t check. I also don’t have the means to put them on Suite101.com.

I’m going to put Nathan Fillion’s clips up here for the fans in the hopes that this gives them an idea of what the extras on the Blu-Ray disk has and will encourage them to buy and support GLEK’s release. Please respect the copyright to Warners Home Video and DC Comics and do not copy these elsewhere. They were provided to media in support to getting the word out about the DVD release.

Once again these clips are being shared for the fans to enjoy in the hopes that this gives them an idea of what the extras on the Blu-Ray disk has and will encourage them to support GLEK’s release. In anticipation of the DVD release of the Animated Movie, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, tomorrow, June 7, 2011, I was sent this neat clip on the formation of the GL rings:

Once again, this is copyrighted by Warner Bros Animation and DC Comics and used with permission. Please read my article/review on Suite101.com, but the site doesn't have the capability of running video, so that's why I add these here.

Writing About Green Lantern: Emerald Knights DVD

Warners Animation and Warners Home Video gave me access to clips from their upcoming Blu-Ray and DVD release (on June 7, 2011) of Green Lantern: Emerald Knights -- the latest in their ongoing series of original animated movies in the DC Universe. This one stars the voices of Nathan Fillion, currently on the hit TV series Castle, and Elizabeth Moss, currently on the hit series Mad Men. This movie explores the origins of the DC Universe's interglactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps, through six interlocking tales.

One clip features Elizabeth Moss as new recruit Arisia arriving at headquarters:

The second clip is of Arisia talking to Nathan Fillion's Hal Jordan:
