L.A. Kings Beat St. Louis Blues in Game 4 of Playoffs

On Monday, May 6, 2013, the L.A. Kings played the fourth game of the hockey playoffs at Staples Center. Through a friend I got to see them from the plush Warner Bros. Studios box/suite. this was a great experience for me since I've never been in a box at the stadium before.

I've been closer to the ice on another occasion, but this was a great experience. You walk into the suite and there are couches and a table with snacks on it.

There was refrigerator fully stocked with water and drinks. There was even a sink.

So we got to chat with our other suite mates over cold drinks and snacks to get to know each other before the game began. You could even sit in the couches and watch the game on the TV right there on the wall.

But who would, when you could watch it live. Past the counter where you could eat your dinner if  you brought any, there was the area where the seats are to watch the game.

It was an awesome game. The Blues took the lead early in the first period, but by the end the Kings tied the score. Then in the second period the Blues regained the lead and things looked very grim for the Kings as they went scoreless in the second period. I feared we'd be going home disappointed.

But the Kings rallied in the third period and won, 4-3. That made the playoffs 2-2. And we got to go home in victory.  A night I'll remember for a long time. I loved the entire experience.
